Business Card Boredom? Not with moo.com!

BAH HUMBUG

You will be very glad to hear I'm NOT here to complain about how soon people put their Christmas trees up - in past years I HAVE complained, only to be caught out when all of a sudden it is the 20th of December and I have no shopping done and ooops - who needs a Christmas card from me anyway? So today I am bringing you the god-awful news that it is the FIRST OF DECEMBER ALREADY and yea, you may take down your Hallowe'en decorations and replace them with the Christmassy types any time you like, from now on. You wont be the first and you wont be the last.

I haven't really started the Christmas shopping yet and I haven't sent out any cards either. Haven't bought the cards yet.

Every year Iain and I spend far too much on our children just to find ourselves in debt again for another 12 months. I would enjoy Christmas far more if there was a law dictating that children are not allowed more than, say, let's be sensible here, £100? spent on them. I actually would love Christmas then! It's the idea that we have to get them a BIG present, then the Santa presents, then the stocking fillers, etc etc - what's that all about?

What I AM here to complain about is the thing that makes me cringe and seethe and curl my toes with impatience:

IT IS KIN, YOU FOOLS, NOT KING. God dammit - for the love of Christmas would you learn the correct words PLEASE?

"Glad tidings we bring to you and your fecking KIN" not KING. For crying out loud. Didn't you learn anything in primary school???? Don't you geddit? Kin? Kin!! Why would it be King anyway? There is actually an advert on television at the moment with them singing the wrong words. Groan.

And while we are on the subject: "Good King Wencelas LOOKED OUT" not "Good King Wens-less LAST LOOKED OUT" OK?

Sigh.

In chicken news (which this is supposed to be about innit like?) I am hoping that we may have some very exciting news tomorrow. More to follow. . .
